He was predeceased by: his parents, James Emperor and Ruth Emperor Maybusher; his close friend John Damone; his brothers, James Emperor, Edward Skelly and Richard Skelly; his sister-in-law Norene Emperor; and his godson Michael Emperor.
He is survived by: his close friends, Richard Brill, Sam Whitfield and Tony Economou; his wife Alice; his children, Keri and Erin; his son-in-law Jim Kearney; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Jimmy Kearney; his siblings, Kathleen Emperor Sayers, Thomas Emperor and Betty Humphries; and his siblings-in-law, Maria Emperor, Josephine Winters and Jeremiah Winters. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and longtime neighbors and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bedell Pizzo Funeral Home (7447 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10307). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Help of Christians (7396 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10307). A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at the Resurrection Cemetery (361 Sharrott Ave, Staten Island, NY 10309).
He was also known to be very generous; he often donated to many charities like St. Jude, The Siller Foundation (Tunner to Towers), and The Veteran Association.
