He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Amelia; his wife Carmen; his grandchildren, Melody, Ava, Miles, Julissa, Jasmine, Donnell, Cayla, Amanda, Jaydon and Tyler; and his children, Melody, Iris, Sandra, Brian (Carmen) and Carmen.
In 1971, he was granted an honorable discharge for his contribution to the war.
