He was predeceased by: his sisters, Ruth Stoutland and Joan Edgin. He is survived by: his wife Jennie T. Pedersen; and his children, Edward Pedersen, Kevin Pedersen, Cheryl Riley, Gary Pedersen, Mary Lazzara and Janine Pedersen.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Edward's memory to the National Shrine of St. Jude / Society of St. Jude Thaddeus.
