She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Isabel; her son Fernando; her children-in-law, Joann, Maureen and Rudy; and her children, Paul (Jenny), Elaine, Joseph, Elizabeth (Harry), Bernardo (Judy), Ernesto, Guillermo and Zoraida (Michael). She was also cherished by 29 Grandchildren, 25 Great grandchildren, and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.
Elba's greatest accomplishment was bearing nine children, all of whom have gone on to make amazing contributions to society.
