We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2025, at the age of 95, Ernest Joseph Genco of Staten Island, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ernest Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ernest Joseph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Casey Funeral Home (350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Roman Catholic Church (1634 Victory Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10314). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Peters Cemetery (52 Tyler Ave, Staten Island, NY 10310).
