Eugene Dockter Jr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Eugene Dockter Jr. of Staten Island, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Dockter and Eugene Dockter Sr.; his grandparents, Alexandria, Agidio Monte, Helene and Chrstian Dockter; his children, Laurie, Thomas and Kenneth; and his pet Sam.

He is survived by: his wife Edie.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (2819 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Christophers R. C. Church (130 Midland Ave, Staten Island, NY 10306).

Gene's motto was "You don't always have to do everything right, but you should always do the right thing"In lieu of flowers and mass cards family request all donations go to the Batten Disease support and research Association.
