It is with sadness that the passing of Flora Lucchese (Staten Island, New York) is shared. Flora, born on March 17, 1934, passed away on October 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Brutto and Rose Brutto; her husband John Lucchese; her daughter Flora; her siblings, Marion Aldycki and Joseph Brutto; her parents-in-law, Katherine and Joseph Lucchese; and her son-in-law Thomas Bezduda.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Patricia Brutto, Lucille Sozio, Rosemarie Catrama and Katherine Petillo; and her grandchildren, John Lucchese, Shawn Lucchese, Fred Vasaturo, Tonimarie Costello, Anthony Rivicci, Timothy Rivicci, Theresa Antinoro, Katie Fenko, Victoria Acampora, John Kaminsky, Rosemarie McLaughlin, Jackie Sinodinos, Kieran Sheehan, Nicole Schettino, Carolyn Lucchese and Lauren Lucchese.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc. (28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10312). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gateway Cathedral Church (200 Boscombe Ave, Staten Island, NY 10307).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Flora's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
