In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy George leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though George may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Grossmann and Lillian Grossmann; his sister Barbara Chase; his wife Patricia Lawrence; and his children, Michele Bacik and Donna Lianzo. He was also cherished by his family, five grandchildren and three nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bedell Pizzo Funeral Home (7447 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10307). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Help of Christian's RC Church (7396 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10307). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at the Oceanview Cemetery (3315 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10306).
In lieu of flowers, George's family kindly asks donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in his memory.
