It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hugh William Smith MD of Staten Island, New York, who passed away on August 13, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Smith; his sister-in-law Peggy Russell; and his sibling's children, John, Timothy Russell and Meghan Cox.
