It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Wayson of Staten Island, New York, who passed away on May 26, 2026, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James and Opal Wayson; and his father James M Wayson. He is survived by: his children, Michael Mills Wayson, Jacob Wayson and Autumn Wayson; his granddaughter Elena; the mother of his children Cindy Mills Wayson; and his sisters, Dawn Martin (Phil) and Joanne Pennix (Raymond).
