He was predeceased by: his parents, John Higgins and Florence Higgins (Williams). He is survived by: his wife Joan (Garrity); his children, Jeffrey (Barbara), John and Jeanne Ramos (Jose); and his grandchildren, Devin, Alyssa, Jared, Erin, Ava and Rihanna.
