John Abraham Obituary

With solemn reverence, we commemorate John Abraham (Staten Island, New York), whose life came to an end on February 27, 2026 at the age of 84, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his wife Anna; his children, Susan (Jeryn Jacob), John Alex and Mathew (Christina Abraham); and his grandchildren, Anjali, Claudia, Kerala and Lucas.

He was one of two students in all of India to receive the Ventnor Foundation academic scholarship for study in the United States, offered through Middlesex Hospital, which is now Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
