John E. McNally Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 28, 2023, at the age of 89, John E. McNally (Staten Island, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John T. and Anna McNally; his daughters, Deborah McNally, Lynn Cook (Jerry) and Eileen Pellettiere (Vincent); his grandchildren, Justin Kiernan (Kristen), John-Charles Kiernan, John-Vincent Pellettiere, Elaine Pellettiere, Trevor Cook and Delia Pellettiere; his great grandchildren, Ethan and Owen Kiernan; his sister Emily Dannic (Roger); his wife Elaine Hansen; and his sisters, Jean Ricaforte (Antonio) and Harriet Semple. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
John later founded the John C. McNally Memorial Fund in his son's honor. Originally founded to provide underprivileged football players at Tottenville High School with an opportunity to attend camp and play football, the success of the fund during its 20-year run, from 1998-2018, allowed it to branch out and ultimately provide college scholarships and donations to several different individuals and charities.
