It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Robert Prosser of Staten Island, New York, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Ellyn Nesland of Kingston; and his children, Christine-Albert Brigandi of Staten Island, Robert-Lauren Ayers, Thomas Ayers of Cairo, John-Sonia Speed Prosser of Cairo, Lisa Prosser of Kingston, Janyce Hess Prosser of Kingston and Patricia Halter of Kingston. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
