We announce the death of John E. Schulz (Staten Island, New York), who passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 77. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He is survived by: his wife Maria Schulz; his children, Jon Schulz (Christine) of Congers, Heather Ricci of Florida, Christine Schulz of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Timothy Schulz (Kate) of Ashburn, Virginia and Matthew Schulz of Holmes; his stepchildren, Nick Shelse (Caitlin) and Jessica DeLorenzo; and his grandchildren, Addyson, Adrianna, Alessia, Allison, Jenna, Kaitlyn, Luke, Patrick, Robert, Seamus, Shane, Sofia and Sydney.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Casey McCallum Rice South Shore Funeral Home (30 Nelson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10308). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 9:45 AM at the St. Clare's Church (110 Nelson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10308). A committal service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (361 Sharrott Ave, Staten Island, NY 10309).
