John L. Stahlnecker Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2025, at the age of 81, John L. Stahlnecker (Staten Island, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Stahlnecker (Fisher) and Lawrence Stahlnecker; his sister Mary Anne Sanborn (Kevin); his siblings' children, Joseph Stahlnecker (Leslie), Nancy Stahlnecker, Kristen Smith (Brian) and Christopher Sanborn (Amie); his friend Sharon Casares; his brother James Stahlnecker; and his siblings' children, James Stahlnecker Jr. and Eileen Stahlnecker.

He is survived by: his cousin Joanne Sullivan (Michael).

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Casey Funeral Home (350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church (1091 Forest Ave, Staten Island, NY 10310).
