He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmine Datello Sr. and Mary Datello; his wife Maryann Datello; his brother Peter Datello; his sister-in-law Katherine Datello; and his niece Christina Datello.

He is survived by: his siblings, Carmine Datello, Francis Datello and Annette Oginsky; and his daughters, Maureen Yatwa Dina (Steve), Donnell (Tony), Carrie Duffin (Stuart), Randi Datello (Maurizio) and Victoria Datello. He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
