He is survived by: his wife Yvette Ayuso; and his siblings, James Barney Hightower Jr., Carol Otten (Ken), Carl (Tisa) and Joanne (Patrick). He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, 21 great nieces and nephews and 7 great, great nieces and nephews.
