It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lucy Ruggieri (Staten Island, New York), who passed away at the age of 86, on July 21, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Lucy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lucy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ruggieri and Rose Ruggieri. She is survived by: her brothers, Anthony (Hildegard) and Peter (Rita); and her niece Lucy. She is also survived by daughters and their families; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Church (101 Cromwell Ave, Staten Island, NY 10304).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Lucy's memory.
