She is survived by: her brother Bishop Harry (Jean Thompson); and her daughter Maria. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Frederick Douglass Memorial Park, Inc. (3201 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10306).
