She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Athanasopoulos (Chris), Therese RizzoCascio (Sal), Joseph Jr. (Roseann), Mary Lynch (Kevin), Barbara and Patricia; and her siblings, Margaret McGarry and Robert O'Handley. She is also survived by her family and friends.
