With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary E. Slow (Staten Island, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2025 at the age of 66. She was predeceased by: her father Stephen Walsh; her siblings, Stephen Walsh (Kathleen), Thomas Walsh (Meg), Jean Walsh (Luke Contos) and Maureen Graham (Ed); and her siblings-in-law, Cathy Pennisi and Michael Slow.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Slow; her mother Ellen Walsh; her children, Meghan (Anthony Aponte) and Timothy Slow; her grandchildren, Anthony, Michaela, Adam and Matthew; and her brothers-in-law, Edward Slow (Sue) and Jimmy Slow (Roxanne). She is also survived by her extended family, dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (2819 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the St. Charles Roman Catholic Church (644 Clawson St, Staten Island, NY 10306).
