He was predeceased by: his siblings, John Matheson (Jean), Donald Matheson (Madeline) and Dorothy Petersen (Jack); and his son-in-law James Pappa. He is survived by: his wife Carole; his daughter Suzanne Deaton (Eric); his grandchildren, Gregory and Faith Deaton of Scottsdale, AZ; his son Rich Matheson (Kelly); his granddaughter Brianna Matheson; and also Michelle Bellajonas of Staten Island, NY.. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, many great nieces and great nephews, and their children.
