He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank and Mary; his son Michael Powers; and his sister Patsy McCarthy. He is survived by : his wife Margaret "Maggie"; his children, Billy (Hannah), Richard (Danielle), Tara and Ryan (Brenda); his grandchildren, Liam, Jillian, James and Patrick; his siblings, Bill Evans, Kathleen "Pud" Nelson, John Walsh (Ann) and Fran Murphy (Jim); and his aunt Mae. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins and countless friends.
