He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. and Virginia B.; his grandfather Patrick; his wife Marie; his sister Virginia Tarallo (Pirot); and his children-in-law, Jodi and David Averack.
He is survived by: his sister Virginia E. Bob (Marie Eadicicco); his uncle Jack Mulligan; his children, Patricia Averack, Robert (Sandra), James (Sharon) and Gary (Lori); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Pisani (David), Christine Averack (Richard Malone), David Averack (Nicole), Robert (Valerie), Jessica Prasnal (Daniel), Tricia Averack-Luna (Victor), Tiffany (Daniel Mazzone), Gary (Alexa), Sean (Sharon), Taylor Stark (Kevin) and Noelle Totino (Francesco). He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
