It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert L. Gans (Staten Island, New York), who passed away on August 27, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Gans and Herbert Gans; and his son Karl. He is survived by: his brothers, Herbert and Rudolph; his wife Evelyn; his children, Robert, Carolyn and Elisabeth; his stepdaughter Beatrice Barbera; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Arianne, Ian, Chris, Laura, Matthew Morris and Nicole Chatfield; and his friend Nikolas Butkov. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
