With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosa Pistone (Staten Island, New York), who passed away on August 1, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Rosa farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rosa is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Francesco Mazzola and Rosa Mazzola (Purpura).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc. (28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10312). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at the St. Adalbert-St. Roch Church (602 Port Richmond Ave, Staten Island, NY 10302).
