In the vast expanse of eternity, Sylvia shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sylvia farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Fois and Margaret Fois; her spouse Mikie; and her children, Joseph, Michele and Salvatore. She was also cherished by her sisters, her parents, and at least ten nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc. (28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10312). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Child Church (4747 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10312).
In lieu of flowers, please consider taking a long-lost friend to lunch, calling someone, you"ve been meaning to reach out to, and remember "Mom" as you do so.
