He was predeceased by: his brother Kevin; and his parents, Patrick Whalen and Anna Pauline (Lane). He is survived by: his spouse Geralyn (Darragh); his children, Mary, Thomas Jr. (Shakira), Colin and Darragh; his grandchild Jaesun; and his siblings, Patrick (Mary), Maureen, Joseph (Janice) and Peter (Madeline).
