He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Helen (Mangin); and his siblings, James, Juan "Butchie" and Geraldine.
He is survived by: his sons, Walter Jr. (Kimberly) and Damon (Tammy); his grandchildren, Julianna and Christopher; and his siblings, Charlie, Eddie and Valerie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
