He was predeceased by: his wife Vicki Aanonsen Ettinger; his parents, Albert Ettinger and Ruth Ettinger; his brother Albert Ettinger Jr.; and his daughter-in-law Carolyn Wholihan Ettinger.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Ettinger, Jill Ettinger Pagliettini and Scott Ettinger; his children-in-law, Robert Pagliettini and Kerri McDonald Ettinger; his grandchildren, Kiersten, Erin, Alexis Ettinger, Austin, Tristan Pagliettini, Nathan and Leila Ettinger; his brother-in-law James Aaanonsen (Irene); and his close friend Margaret Wegener.
