It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J. Bierster of Staten Island, New York, who passed away on July 4, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Frances; his daughter Marybeth; and his grandchildren, Claire and Chloe.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Scarpaci Funeral Home of Staten Island (6389 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10309). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at 5411 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10312.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions to be made to: Little Sisters of the Poor, 601 Maiden Choice Lane, Baltimore, MD 21228.
