Dawn M. Knopp Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dawn M. Knopp of Sterling, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2026 at the age of 56. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dawn M. Knopp to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald F. Scharf and Susan Scharf (Lamphere); her daughters, Abie, Brittany and Caitlyn Knopp; and her brother Gerald Scharf.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Knopp Jr.; her daughters, Taylor DiCarlo (David) and Chloe Knopp (Mitchell); her mother-in-law Donna Baker; and her brothers, Stephen Scharf (Trish) and Joseph Scharf (Lorrie). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Upstate Cancer Center Hematology and Oncology in Oswego.
