He was predeceased by: his parents, David Evans and Vera Evans (Godding); and his sisters, Patricia Sapanaro and Charlene Gridley. He is survived by: his nephew Samuel Saponaro (Shelby); his wife Mary Alguire; his stepchildren, Nicole Capodifero and Matthew Cochi (Alicia); and his grandsons, Brandon Capodifero and Andrew Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
