With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Peter K. Haile (Stony Brook, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Hollingsworth of Augusta, GA.; and also Pierson Curtis. He is survived by: his children, John (Susan) and Rebecca Swanson (David); his grandchildren, David Haile (Michelle), Andrew Haile (René), Sarah Haile, Dr. David Swanson III (Katharine) and Peter Swanson (Marissa); and his great grandchildren, Nora, James, Christopher, Brandon, Alethea and Naomi.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stony Brook School (1 Chapman Pkwy, Stony Brook, NY 11790).
