Alexander Schelmety Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alexander Schelmety (Stony Point, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Alexander farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Alexander is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernaldo Schelmety and Maria Luisa Maldonado Schelmety; and his brother Bernaldo Schelmety II. He is survived by: his nephew Alex; his sister-in-law Carmen Schelmety; his niece Ivonne Schelmety; his nephews, Bernaldo III and Anthony Schelmety; and his in-laws, Phyllis and Desmond Neary. He is also survived by many brothers- and sisters-in-law.
