With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernard Joseph Hughes Jr. of Stony Point, New York, who passed away on July 25, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Joseph Hughes Sr. of Haverstraw and Charlotte Uhl of Haverstraw. He is survived by: his wife Noreen Kapusinski (Church) of Stony Point; his sisters, Maryanne and Janey; his son Bernard III; his grandchildren, Bernie IV, Chris and Nick; and his great grandchildren, Brixton, Bernard "Joey" V, Bryson and Brantley.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made in his memory to United Hospice for the tremendous care they provided in his final days. Honor Bernard Hughes's memory by donating to a cause they cared about.
