He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Flaherty (Penteck); his children, Jeanmarie Cooney, Desmond Flaherty (Teresa), Geralyn Flaherty and Lori Ann Arduini (Charlie); his grandchildren, Taryn, Cailyn (Dylan), Christopher, Ryan, Erin, Danny, Jessica, Aidan, Brian and Meaghan; his great grandchildren, Tucker James and Cody Desmond; his brother Edward Flaherty (Marion); and his sister-in-law Pat Flaherty.
