With sadness, we share the passing of Joan Wood of Stony Point, New York. Joan, born on January 27, 1934, passed away on September 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Ward (Osbourne) and LeRoy Ward; her husband Lloyd; and her siblings, Eleanor, Gloria and LeRoy.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Beyer (Kenneth) and Keith (Eileen); her grandchildren, Samantha (Steven), Morgan (Matthew), Rachel (Brandon), Philip (Andréa) and Briana (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Margaret, Jack, Joanna and Hallie; and her pet Deke. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edward C. Finn Funeral Home (43 E Main St, Stony Point, NY 10980). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Brick Church Cemetery (221 Brick Church Rd, Spring Valley, NY 10977).
