She was predeceased by: her parent Fikri W. Ghobrial. She is survived by: her sons, Magdy, Sameh and Kareem; her grandchildren, Kareem, Nicole Hope and John; her great grandchildren, Azzah Odette and Asher Shams; her daughters-in-law, Melanie, Jean and Amelia; her sister-in-law Soad; and her niece Hala.
A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Virgin Mary & St. Pachomius Copic Orthodox Church (3 Swim Club Rd, Stony Point, NY 10980). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the Airmont Coptic Orthodox Cemetery (3 Church Rd, Suffern, NY 10901).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Virgin Mary & St. Pachomius Coptic Orthodox Church, a cause close to Rita's heart and her lifelong passion for feeding others.
