We bid farewell to Lois A. Bertram of Stuyvesant, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 1, 2026 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Fischer and Mary Fischer (Egnasher); her husband Stanley; her son Gregg; her granddaughter Marleigh Rain Bertram; and her brother Henry "Bud" Fischer (Jane).
She is survived by: her children, Scott Bertram (Syndi) of Stuyvesant, Wendy Ponkos (Ray) of Valatie, Cindy Arkenbout (Rudy) of Wellington, Joy Bertram (Geoffrey) of Kinderhook and Marybeth Bertram (Steve) of Stuyvesant; her grandchildren, Matthew (Linda), Melinda (Bill), Daniel (Kayla), Christina (Mike), Jesse, Leah, Julian, Scottie, Hunter Rae and Haydon; her great grandchildren, Vanessa, Serena, Zoe, Jacob, Annalise and Luna; and her caregivers, Judy, Chaplain Matt, Gina, Stacy, Kelly and Barb.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lois' memory to Stuyvesant Fire Company No. 1, 194 Route 26A, Stuyvesant, NY 12173.
