It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aloysius G. Smith MD (Suffern, New York), who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Aloysius may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Aloysius touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Aubrey and Kennedy; his siblings, Lona (Onyechi), Errold (Marietta), Gloria, Junior, Jeanette (Marvin) and Jimmy (Nancy); and his uncle Frederick (Caroline). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
