Theodore Mapes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Theodore Mapes of Suffern, New York, born in Queens, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Mapes (Hough) and Theodore Mapes Sr.; his brother Richard; his wife Marcy; his son Theodore; and his granddaughter Colleen Montague (Mapes).
He is survived by: his children, Dorothy Rogers (Mapes) and Patrick Mapes (Julie); his grandchildren, Victoria, Shannon, Theodore, David, Scott and Marcy; and his significant other Mary Dinterman. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home (34 N Summit St, Pearl River, NY 10965). A Mass will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Margaret of Antioch Church (115 W Central Ave, Pearl River, NY 10965).
