Ada L. Vapsva Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ada L. Vapsva of Syosset, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ada L. Vapsva to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dominick Malice and Carmela Malice; her husband John; her children, Cathy and John (Jeanellen); her grandchildren, Juliet, Christine, Dominick and Elizabeth; and her sibling Sal Malice.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Beney Funeral Home (79 Berry Hill Rd, Syosset, NY 11791). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. Edward the Confessor Church (205 Jackson Ave, Syosset, NY 11791).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children, in honor of Ada's giving spirit.
