It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alois A. Samide (Syosset, New York), who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Samide and Josefa "Sophie" Samide; his sisters, Maria Page and Helen Lang; and his grandparents, Rayden and Ravenna Cruz.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Samide; his children, Laura Samide McNeice, Allen Samide and Gary Samide; his grandchildren, Alexander Samide, Rachel Samide Cruz, Robert Samide, Megan McNeice, Kelly McNeice, Samantha Samide and Nicholas Samide; and also Rayne.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
