Family, friends, and acquaintances remember James Daniel for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred and Anne (Krywak); his brother Alfred; and his nephew Lawrence. He is survived by: his siblings, Joyce (Larry Michels) and Donald (Jane); and his sister-in-law April. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beney Funeral Home (79 Berry Hill Rd, Syosset, NY 11791). A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood (111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590).
The family requests memorial donations to Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Shriners Hospitals for Children or Gift of Life Transplant House, Rochester, MN.
