It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Allen Berglund of Syosset, New York, who passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Berglund and Dorothy Berglund; and his brother Bruce. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn (Cornell); his sons, Donald (Madeleine), James and Brian (Beth); and his grandchildren, Alexis, Luke, Ryan, Justin, Erika, Patrick and Michael.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
