She was predeceased by: her parents, John Canestraro and Angeline Canestraro; her husband Manny Leone; her son Joe; and her sisters, Faye (Pitonzo) and Yolanda Halpin (Canestraro).
She is survived by: her sons, Ed and John Leone (Julia); her daughter-in-law Laurel; her grandchildren, Jason (Amber), Lindsay Corbett (Dan), Joe (Sarah), Greg (Tricia), John Manuel (Jenna), Amanda (Matt) and Anna; and her sisters, Josephine Polito and Annette Tesoriero. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Most Holy Rosary Church (111 Roberts Ave, Syracuse, NY 13207).
