It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Elaina Macrides of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on May 10, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Nicholas; her parents, Michael Gonsa and Barbara Gonsa; and her sister Mary Ann MacIntire. She is survived by: her sons, Christopher (Paula) of Grand Island, NY and Jason (Vicki) of Selbyville, DE; her grandchildren, Karli, Nico, Craig (Erin), Alexis, Dorothea, Trent and Sophia; her great grandchildren, Naomi, Amelia and Elliott; and her sister Dorothy Feeney of Alexandria, VA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
