We announce the death of Benny R. Wilson Sr. of Syracuse, New York, born in Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 74. Benny will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Lisa, Tisha (Robert), Melissa and Dayquan (Brianna); and his grandchildren, Omaij, Tra'Vye and London.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM at the Greater Evangelical Church (4325 S Salina St, Syracuse, NY 13205).
